Today we were looking at bees. Each of us received a little container with one dead bumblebee inside, you could go in pairs if you wanted. I was with Grace and we had to share a container. Each of us got a worksheet. Every person (pairs) got a different type of bumblebee. Me and Grace got a Queen Bee! Each table got a magnifying glass and tweezers. Our bee was fluffy and striped. Its wings were in a flying position. We enjoyed the activity.

Bees are so interesting!! I made connections to Bee blog posts as I've also been learning about bees as my sister and nephew are looking into getting a hive. They live on a couple of acres in Pukekohe. Tell me more about what your learnt.... bees are so interesting!!
