 On Friday, Marble Run with my dad. He did the drilling for me. We made it with cardboard and an old drawer. I decorated it. It took a long time but it turned out good. It was part of the Art activity for our class.

Stop Motion animation

 

Yesterday we were working on making a stop motion about Kindness. I was working with Charmy and Reuben. We had lots of fun. Me and Charmy did some work at home. We made dogs and curtains. We planned the whole thing and now we only have to record it.We didn't finish it yet but we will work on it today.

The Story of the Sparkler Stick and How it Helped to Give Birth to a Baby Plant (includes a character called Bird Legz) and a video.

On Saturday, when I saw the sparkler sticks that we had used on Diwali, they were lying on the ground. So I thought I could make something out of them. So I got some water and scraped of all the black stuff left with a leaf that smelt nice. I was only using gardening materials for this so I used a leaf. Then I washed the sparkler stick several times. Then I bent the metal stick and made it into a upside down U shape. Then I curved the ends a bit. But then everything didn't turn out that good. So the next day I had an idea. I got a plastic plant pot. I called my sister to help and I knew it would turn out good this time because "Team work does your Dream work".Then she found a stick that looked like a dead bird's leg so we decided to name it Bird Legz. Then I found a shovel and started digging somewhere in the garden. I got as much as soil I could get from there and gave it to my sister so she could put it in the plastic plant pot. Then she put water in the soil and squashed it in using Bird Legz's foot. That kept going till I thought that was enough soil. Then we saw some worms in there which was good. Then I plucked some twigs of a flower plant I had, and put them in the plastic pot. Then I watered it and got the sparkler stick that I had bent. Then I tied it around the pot to make a handle.  Then I hung it on a nail which was somewhere on a mini house in front of our house. It looked pretty good. And what about the holes in the garden? Oh well, I planted the same type of plant in there...

 This week is Diwali and many Indians will celebrate the victory of good over evil. On Diwali, they light up diyas and make rangoli patterns to welcome the goodes of wealth, MahaLaksmi. They also make mouth watering sweets, which I am sure you will love. Here are some sweets and other foods our family made.

Tik Tok Drum Challenge

 Hi people. This Disconnect - Ed Friday we had been given a task to do the Tik Tok Drum Challenge. My sister helped me to organise the cards and and the video. I didn't didn't promise her anything but we had Ice - cream anyway.  I used Screencastify to do the video. It was actually fun with my sister helping (best part was she helped me tidy up, or only I would have to do by myself). Here is my video below.👇 Please tell me in the comments if I need to improve. Obstacle Course

 For this week's P.E task our class had to make an Obstacle Course. I made one with my sister . I did the recording and made the video and my sister was doing the obstacle course. My parents were busy so they couldn't help. I promised my sister ice - cream if she helped me, and now she really wants ice - cream. Here is the video below. 

Cake Again but it's Different!

 Yesterday, my dad made a cake. Well, it wasn't really a cake because he made two! They looked really delicious. I get hungry just by looking at them. 😋😋😋😋 I didn't taste the cakes because the were meant for today. 

Mandarin Juice

 It is weird for me since it is mandarin juice instead of orange juice but in lockdown we actually made it. So why did my family make it? It was because we have a mandarin tree. In lockdown there were so many mandarins on it and we had no idea what to do with them. The second reason was that we wanted to have some orange juice but we couldn't go out shopping in lockdown because it was dangerous. The third reason was because we wanted to experiment it and see how it would taste like. Me and my sister were the taste testers. We had a little sip and it tasted a bit sour. We liked it because most of my family likes sour things. We made it three times but it wasn't really sour because our mandarins were a bit sweeter than last time. Nature Walk

 

On Friday our teacher gave us a task to do a nature walk. We had to walk around in our backyard/garden and try to find the letters of our name. Cake!

 

Yesterday me and my family worked together to make a cake. We experimented it since we hadn't made one like this before. First we gathered the ingredients. Ingredients: 8 tablespoon self-raising flour, 6 tablespoon  Vegetable Oil, 1 Egg (we used condensed milk instead), 2 tablespoon Cocoa Powder (you can add more according to how much chocolaty you want to make it), Milk 6 tablespoons (but you can add more if necessary), 4 tablespoon Sugar, 1 tablespoon Chocolate Chips (optional), 2 tablespoon Vanilla Essence, Bowl and a Plate. These are the steps. First add 8 tablespoons of self-raising flour. Then, add 4 tablespoons of sugar. Next add 4 tablespoons of Cocoa Powder and mix it altogether. Then add the egg or whatever you are using. Next put in 6 tablespoons of milk, 6 tablespoons of Vegetable Oil, and mix carefully. Next add 1 tablespoon chocolate chips (optional). Then add the vanilla essence. Stir it carefully. Then get your plate and put it under the bowl and put both of them into the microwave to rise for 3 to 4 mins. You might be wondering why we have the plate. Well it is because it might explode out of the bowl and to make sure your microwave doesn't get all dirty. When it out of the microwave wait for it to cool and then carefully take it out of the bowl. Don't forget to share and enjoy! 

A Goldilocks Story

The week before lockdown our class had to remake a  play or a narrative about the Goldilocks story. We could do it in groups or by ourselves. I did it in a group. In my group I had Charmy, Kristin, and Reuben. We worked together to make an awesome play! I set up the sound effects, me and Charmy worked on writing the play while Kristin helped a little and Reuben helped saying it. Here it is!
